G.W.T.G.G.

I'm still not fully aware of what is going on here. I like to see that few nice changes happened, my best friend got a nice baby and they seem like a happy family now. And becoming a father got him some nice privileges, so we can party like in the old times.
Got my pictures ready for some little lectures about the trip and I'm discovering how to pass the stupid bureaucratic problems that are so important in our country. I'm afraid I'm not going to finish the license before the season starts, but it seems I'll manage to find some job anyway.

Can't wait for summer, see some more skin, ride my motorcycle like a real person not like a clumsy onion and forget about this horrible cold. I have to admit it's getting warmer.

It was back in Fort de France...

Click, drastic change

BOOM! I'm in Paris!

Just landed, starting the acclimatisation proces. Feels like skiing holidays, it's chilly (-7), but still feels like a holiday. Thank you mom, for giving me not the "give a fuck" gene.
Still on the airport though, having a kind of early brunch and thinking about global warming. I'll meet with Al for lunch and then I take another flight to Treviso, which is basically home. Can't wait to jump in my bed and have a decent rest. The flight was all rum and no fun. I mean sleep. No Mile high club thouhg...

Too fast for my brain

Yesterday, after a killer weekend I was searching the net, looking for potential cheap fares for Europe. I found out that flying from Martinique to Paris is the cheapest and I found out before, that a last minute flight is not really that much cheaper. I would need a good thousand € to get my ass back home and with that cold back there is not tempting at all. But, while shuffling the flight companies pages I find a dirt cheap flight, that is even cheaper as a return ticket. Check Ryanair from Paris to Venice, 10 + baggage&taxes 30 and something. I got a ticket and without thinking much about it I call my mom to tell the news. "I'll be home the day after tomorrow, can you pick me up?" Her answer was: "Are you nuts?! You know about the temperature here?" and a lot of caring mother concerns after that.
It seems my body is going to undertake the ultimate challenge. I won't say it. But I'm aware of that.

So, it seems the jungle will have to wait till my return flight, 16th of November.

Tropical parade

After 11 days we finally came to Martinique. To the town of Le Marin to be exact.

The place is... French. I like it, it's like a piece of France in the Caribbean, the beer is decent but the rum is awesome. I've never drank so much ponche in my life. The people is nice, but I have to see more of the island, because this place is just too touristic.
The few hours I slept were enough to decide about the future plans. Time to get some money to sponsor the next adventure. So I decided I'll go home in about a week or when I get a decently cheap flight and finish my stcw to begin to work on a boat with a salary.
Thats the plan more or less, it's one last reason I needed to get back home. But for now, I'm gonna see where's that little girl I've met yesterday and the move to Fort de France to see the real thing.
