Island hopping by ferry

Readers, friends, if you turn these pages
Put your prejudice aside,
For, really, there's nothing here that's outrageous,
Nothing sick, or bad — or contagious.
Not that I sit here glowing with pride
For my book: all you'll find is laughter:
That's all the glory my heart is after,
Seeing how sorrow eats you, defeats you.
I'd rather write about laughing than crying,
For laughter makes men human, and courageous.
BE HAPPY!
Taken from the series of novels:  The Life of Gargantua and of Pantagruel

I finally decided to start a blog on a day full of hangover (that we'll call seasickness) and quite eventless at the moment. Yesterdays halloween party was a "sucksess" I might say, but I never really liked halloween so it's good like it is.

We're slowly approaching the island of Madeira and as just discovered, I'll have to seat on the boat for the entire staying there (10 hours!). It's not that I've been naughty or any quarantine stuff, the crew explanation was that it's like this because of banana smuggling. I wasn't really listening I admit.

The sun is slowly breaking through the clouds and the sea is calm and awesomely blue. I think I'm gonna hit the "swimming" pool and enjoy the view.

Cheers
