So much could have happened in those days since the return home, but it didn't. Meeting the old friends, and a bunch of new gals was perfect for parties and occasional get together, but in 2 months it gets boring and especially in a limited space as the Slovenian coast, the occasional get together(s) can get pretty bizarre (quickly).
So he tried kite surfing and actually got the equipment for that. Tried once, then no wind, a couple of new tats that limited his movements and finally a call from a friend, with a number.
That number gave him the reason for staying so long in that environment that felt so alien to him, his home.
THE NUMBER! That made his nights sleepless, even when alone. The number that made him dream of purple motorcycles and vampire dwarfs. The number of faith.
The number was actually not 42. It was a phone number that connected him to a man who owns a motorcycle touring company.
So after several calls, an interview, here came the D day. As he learned later, it was not that much of a deal, it was just a really cool riding weekend with people you don't know yet. Like the couchsurfing motorcycle invasions we can say. Impressively similar.
That weekend he had the ride of the year (except the 2nd day, because the hangover). Just as one can expect from a spring ride. Beautiful scenery, no traffic, fresh, really refreshing air and tons of sun and sweet motorcycles...
And that ride, started a whole new adventure.
